In the past, EA has shown little care for the game's massive fanbase by removing features from previous games (like toddlers and spiral staircases) and taking a long time to reintroduce them. This is a positive sign that EA is listening to the Sims community by working with creators and expanding the game's options, something that should continue in the future. While many of The Sims 4's patches and updates contain mainly bug fixes, the most recent one is far more significant, adding new content and major bug fixes to the game. Released earlier this week, The Sims 4 patch 1.72 is adding an object long requested by the community from previous games, as well as continuing to expand Sim diversity with updated Create-A-Sim features.
